How to join the Nomaroishi

These are the requirements for joining the Nomaroishi House. Other house requirements may be different and its best you ask them about their process. But once you have established yourself in the Nomaroishi, you can, from there, find other guilds that may suit your RP tastes more.

Requirements:

1.) You must know the basics of free form role playing: What is IC and what is OOC, what a story line (S/L) is.

2.)It is perfered that you have a Yahoo Messenger account as that most of our members base a lot of their real time RP in this forum. You can, though, become a member of the Nomaroishi and stick just to this message board and RP in the IC threads.

3.) You must fill out an application and post it in the "Members" forum. The staff will review it and you will be placed into the Nomaroishi House.

Rules:

1.) No character killing without permission. All fighting will be decided by the combatants, if no rules were agreed upon then the standard Nomaroishi fighting rules are set by default. The Arena Rules can be found here.

2.) Do not bring OOC issues IC.

3.) Use the chain of command. If you have a problem or a question, take it to your house leader first, then to the leader of all the houses (Madaki_Nomaroishi) and finally to your admin.

4.) Do not post in other people's houses unless you have permission. This does not apply to RP since that's all what we are here for.

5.) Don'tbe a twink. There are no rules for character creation but respect your fellow RPers because no one likes a godmoder.

The Application:

This section of the application is all IC (in character):




*Name: (Your character’s name)



Nickname: (If any, what your character prefers being called)



Title/Rank: (If any, be advised that your title/rank will not be recognized unless you have accurate RP logs backing your claims. That goes for people that claim to be kings, queens, arch demons, etc. )



Family: (Your character’s living family, if any.)



*Gender: ( State your characters gender.)



*Age: (Remember to choose an age that would realistically reflect your characters behavior and knowledge.)



Religion: (If any. All scopes of deities are accepted, from Warhammer to Forgotten Realms. )



*Race: (If you are making up your own race, please write a short description detailing that new race. If it’s something ordinary like human, elf, wookie, ect…you can leave it as a one word answer.)



*Physical Appearance: (Eye color, hair, complexion, height, weight, scars, etc. Clearly define what your character looks like. Take as much space as you need. Entries less than at least one (1) paragraph will not be accepted.)



*Personality: (What is your character like? Is he ornery, cheerful? What makes him happy? What pisses him off? Entries less than at least one (1) paragraph will not be accepted.)



*Weapons: (Both primary and secondary. You may also list weapon skills, dominant hand, or any special training your character has received.)



*Magiks: (If Any. Either natural abilities or learned, any arcane abilities are described here. Also remember than if you choose to possess high level magics you will need to justify where your character learned such things. Simply saying he was born with it doesn’t cut it. )



Occupation: (What your character does to make money, if anything.)



*Strengths/Good Qualities: (Be unique, but remember that each strength will have to be countered by a weakness.)



*Weaknesses/Bad Qualities: (Same as above; be unique…and you can have as many weaknesses as you want. –grins- )



*Character History: (It up to you what area of your character’s history you wish to devolve. Entries less than three (3) paragraphs will not be accepted.)



*Odds & Ends: (What does you character have with him? Does he own a house some where? An interstellar cargo vessel? List them here.)



Likes: (From coffee beans to sex, what does your character like? List them here.)



Dislikes: (Again, just list your character’s dislikes.)



Pets/Familiars: (If any)



Quote: ( Is your character known for saying something all the time?)



Other useful facts: (anything else you want the world to know about your character?)

*Do you wish to recieve a pin number in the Royal Treasury?: (yes/no)



Also, please include a picture of your character. If you do not have one, its okay, just eventually get one so we can put it up. We also have a few artist members of the Nomaroishi who you could commision for a picture as well.
